The UK’s Association of Independent Music (AIM) has appointed Gee ‘Genia’ Davy as in-house Legal and Business Affairs Manager.
Davy joins AIM from her previous position as Legal and Business Affair Manager at Cooking Vinyl.
She will report directly to AIM CEO Paul Pacifico and starts her new role on April 3.
Davy started her career in the music industry as a booking agent before joining SSB Solicitors as a legal intern in 2008.
She spent time as a paralegal before joining Cooking Vinyl in 2009 as Business Affairs Assistant.
Pacifico said: “We are delighted to welcome Genia to the team here at AIM.
“Genia’s extensive experience in-house at Cooking Vinyl combined with her legal knowledge give her a blend of both practical commercial and technical knowledge that will be of great value both to the team here at AIM and to our members.”
