British Grammy winner Alex Da Kid has created his own label with Interscope Records at Universal Music Group.
The multi-platinum music producer’s new label, KIDinaKORNER, will debut with a solo album from singer-songwriter Skylar Grey, who has been featured on three other recent Alex Da Kid hit productions: Coming Home from Diddy-Dirty Money, I Need A Doctor from Dr. Dre featuring Eminem and Words I Never Said from Lupe Fiasco.
“Developing artists that influence and shape popular culture in an authentic way has always been a huge goal of mine,” said Alex Da Kid. “Jimmy Iovine understands that and has been a true mentor to me over the past year. I look forward to continuing all the success we have already had together.”

London-born Alex Da Kid won a Grammy this year for Best Rap Album for Eminem’s Recovery and earned four other nominations: Album of the Year for Recovery and Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Rap Song for “Love The Way You Lie.” In addition, he produced B.o.B.’s nominated “Airplanes and Airplanes Part II” featuring Paramore’s Hayley Williams.
Alex Da Kid was the first producer/songwriter to have his songs reach half a billion views on YouTube.
Most recently, he was asked by Bono and The Edge to produce, Rise Above 1, the first single from the album, Music from Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.Music Business Worldwide
