Apple Music‘s Student Membership plan has been be rolled out to 25 new territories including Brazil, France, India and Mexico.
The move takes the availability of the student discount to 32 countries.
In May, Apple launched its student offer in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Ireland and Denmark.
In that initial launch run, it cut Apple Music’s monthly price in each market by 50% for registered students.
That structure has largely continued in the 25 new markets, although Apple points out that discount prices will vary by country.
All verifications will be in conjuction with UNiDAYS – a leading student verification technology provider.
During the sign-up process, students will be prompted to log in using their University account. Once verified, they will be able to enjoy their free, three month trial (or start their membership if their trial period has already ended).
