Kobalt Neighbouring Rights (KNR) has signed a raft of new chart-topping clients, including Ariana Grande, Lil Wayne (pictured) and ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus.
Other hitmakers that have entrusted Kobalt to search out their neighbouring rights cash around the world include Magic!, OMI, Roxette, Nero, American Authors, Christina Perri and Hurts.
KNR clients benefit from Kobalt’s KORE technology platform, which the firm says maximises royalty collection, creator benefits, and ‘optimises the efficiency of payments quicker than the traditional collections network’.
In January, KNR added clients including Bruno Mars, Sam Smith and Calvin Harris, and the firm says its roster has grown significantly since.
James Merritt, Founder of Authority Management and Ella Eyre’s manager, spoke of the benefits that Eyre is experiencing since signing with KNR: “For Ella, we were looking for a rights management company that goes the extra mile to keep an eye on her royalties, not just from the UK, but from around the world.
“Kobalt Neighbouring Rights provide a thorough, detailed, fast and friendly service – that we’d happily recommend to other artist managers.”
Ann Tausis, Managing Director of Kobalt Neighbouring Rights said, “We are thrilled to add such an exceptional list of talented artists to the Kobalt Neighbouring Rights division.
“Our goal from the beginning has been to offer trust and transparency to our clients, and the word is spreading! I could not be more pleased with the inroads we are making, helping creators maximise their earnings from current and previous performances on a global scale.
“With the advanced technology and optimal level of efficiency that Kobalt is able to offer, I’m confident that our new clients will be extremely and quickly pleased.”Music Business Worldwide
