Cassandra Gracey, President of Sony Music UK‘s 4th Floor Creative Group, is among the first 40 speakers announced for The Great Escape Conference in the UK.
Gracey joined Sony Music UK in April last year after spending fifteen years at First Access Entertainment.
This year’s edition of the conference will take place at its new home at Jury’s Inn Waterfront from May 8-11, 2019 in Brighton, England.
The key Conference strands for the event are: Music Education on May 8, Digital Dollars on May 9, and Music Marketing on May 10.
The Music Marketing strand will conclude with a discussion with Sony‘s Gracey, who will be speaking about how partnerships, content and analytics have become key for labels.
Among the first 40 speakers are representatives from major and indie labels, music distributors and marketing agencies, legal and copyright experts, and start-ups.
These include Andy Knox (Virgin EMI), Andy Varley (Insanity Group), Dorothee Imhoff (FUGA), Jackie Wilgar (Live Nation), Malena Wolfer (Believe) and Tim Fraser-Harding (Warner Music).
Three pieces of original research will also be launched during the The Great Escape Conference on music education, digital royalties and how music marketing is evolving in the streaming age
They include the first report from the Redefining Music Education project, a Song Royalties Guide from the UK’s Music Managers Forum project Dissecting The Digital Dollar, and a new report called, Rethinking Music Marketing.Music Business Worldwide
