Amazon Music has launched podcasts in the UK, US, Germany and Japan, across all tiers of service.
The platform’s podcast offering includes original shows produced exclusively for Amazon Music and hosted by the likes of DJ Khaled, Will Smith, Dan Patrick, Becky G, and others.
Amazon Music customers can access podcasts in the Amazon Music app for iOS and Android, on Amazon Echo devices.
The news follows the recent announcement that Amazon Music has partnered with livestreaming platform Twitch (which is owned by Amazon) to incorporate Twitch’s live streaming functionality into the Amazon Music app on IOS and Android.

Amazon Music has partnered with creators to produce original, exclusive podcasts including the DJ Khaled-hosted The First One (pictured).
Developed by Amazon Music and the Springhill Company, in The First One, DJ Khaled will interview his favourite artists about “the hits that made them iconic and eventually legendary”.

Developed by Amazon Music and Gema Productions, Becky G has also dedicated each episode to a non-profit organisation related to the theme of the week.
Elsewhere, broadcaster Dan Patrick will be hosting a new show called, That Scene with Dan Patrick.
Produced in collaboration with IMDb, this new podcast will dissect memorable scenes from some of the biggest films and television series.
In addition, Amazon Music and Audible will soon be featuring a project from Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s Westbrook Audio, a co-production with Audible.
Popular shows such as Sh**ged.Married.Annoyed with Chris & Rosie Ramsey, No Such Thing as a Fish, Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster, Stories of our times, LuAnna: The Podcast, Casefile True Crime, Real Dictators and The Girls Bathroom are also available on Amazon Music now.
