Caroline International has appointed Aslak Klever to head its operations in the Nordic countries of Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Reporting jointly to Caroline International Managing Director Michael Roe and Joint MD and Head of Music Jim Chancellor, Klever joins Caroline’s previously announced country heads Tina Adams (Germany), Emma Greengrass (UK), Tim Janes (Australia), Fred van Kruining (Benelux) and Thomas Lorain (France).
Klever joins Caroline from Warner Music in Norway where he was Sales Director and Head of Brand Partnerships. He was appointed Head of Sales at EMI Music Norway in 2010. Two years later was promoted to Head of Sales for Norway and Head of Brand Partnerships for the Nordic Region at Parlophone Label Group and joined Warner Music last year when it acquired PLG.
Roe and Chancellor said: “Aslak is a fantastic addition to the Caroline team and we’re thrilled that he’s going to lead our Nordic business. Caroline International was established in 2013 to deliver a services menu to independent labels and artists in every market and region of the world. The company offers services to independent artists and labels including marketing, promotion, A&R, commercial, sync and admin whilst leveraging the global reach of Universal Music’s sales and distribution platforms and relationships.
