US-based publisher Audity Music LLC has signed a partnership with Fuji Pacific Music, Inc. for territories across Asia.
Fuji Pacific represents domestic and foreign catalogues for publishers such as Kobalt Music Group, Peer Music S.E. Asia, Windswept Pacific Music Group, Cherry Lane Music Publishing, and more.
The new deal was recently signed in Seoul, South Korea by Audity co-founder and Global Director of Creative/A&R Affairs, Dom Rodriguez with Fuji Pacific representatives Ms. Juyeon Kim (General Manager) and Ms. Kyoung Park (Head of A&R) [pictured].
Audity Music co-founder and Global Director of Business & Legal Affairs, Brandon “Cyrano” Tatum, Esq. first met Fuji Pacific’s Kyoung Park at Midem 2014.
Cyrano said, “This deal is the culmination of great discussions to develop a mutually beneficial strategy to exploit strong synergies in the Asia region between our two companies working closely together.”
Audity is enjoying a good run in Asia, boasting involvement in S.M. Entertainment boy group Super Junior’s smash hit Mamacita – which recently topped the Oricon charts in Japan – as well as another No.1 hit, Call Me Baby, off EXO’s record-breaking album.
