Baroline Diaz, former Vice President of A&R at Interscope Records, has launched a new record label in partnership with newly founded Santa Anna and Alamo Records.
Diaz will chair the new label called Great Day Records. The label will have access to Santa Anna’s resources and promotional support to help scale its businesses, according to a joint press release on Monday (January 30).
Great Day says it will specialize in “executing an artist’s vision at an unparalleled level by getting back to true artist development.”
The label will also be engaged in creating an artist “from the look and feel” and in building a core fanbase.
“I want my label, Great Day Records, to bring back real artistry and artist development,” said Diaz.
“I want it to be a label where we are building the next generation of super stars in music and Alamo / Santa Anna is the best partner to execute that.”

“I want it to be a label where we are building the next generation of super stars in music and Alamo / Santa Anna is the best partner to execute that. They understand my vision and what the future of music is gonna look,” Diaz added.
Diaz joins Great Day from Interscope, where she was Vice President of A&R. She is known for managing rising star Babyface Ray and for previously overseeing the careers of DaBaby, Moneybagg Yo, Est Gee, Rob 49, Lil Poppa and more.
Prior to joining Interscope in January 2019, she held artist management roles at Columbia Records and Universal Music Group-owned Def Jam Recordings.
“Baroline is a force to be reckoned with and a major player in the music industry.”
Todd Moscowitz
“Baroline is a force to be reckoned with and a major player in the music industry,” said Todd Moscowitz, CEO and Founder of Alamo Records and co-Founder of Santa Anna.
“We cannot wait to work alongside her and develop new ways to scale her impressive roster and discover new ways to expand her growing empire,” Moscowitz continued.
Great Day will be headquartered in New York, near Santa Anna’s headquarters.
The launch of Great Day came less than a month after Santa Anna was launched as a new artist and label services company. Santa Anna is a joint venture between Sony Music Entertainment (SME) and Todd Moscowitz, founder and CEO of Alamo Records.
Alamo Records is also owned by SME after the latter acquired a majority stake in the label in June 2021.
The goal of Santa Anna is to support entrepreneurs and assist artists “in maximizing their creative potential and build their businesses.”
Santa Anna is led by Lee L’Heureux. Shortly after the launch, Santa Anna signed a distribution agreement with record label and management company LISTEN TO THE KIDS, which was set up by its CEO Conor Ambrose and Universal Music Group-owned Interscope.
“I want my label, Great Day Records, to bring back real artistry and artist development. I want it to be a label where we are building the next generation of super stars in music and Alamo / Santa Anna is the best partner to execute that. They understand my vision and what the future of music is gonna look,” Diaz added.
