Big Machine Label Group has hired Kris Lamb, who joins from sister label Dot Records, as VP of Promotion.
Lamb replaces Big Machine’s SVP of Promotion Jack Purcell, who is understood to have left Scott Borchetta’s label after more than a decade.
The move marks a return to BMLG, where Lamb once handled Senior Director/West Coast duties.
He joined Dot as Director/National Promotion when it was launched by BMLG as a joint venture with Republic Records in 2014, being upped to VP in 2015.
BMLG President/CEO Scott Borchetta said: “Kris has been on a mission since the day he joined Big Machine as a regional in 2010.
“There’s nothing that I love more than young, smart, aggressive employees coming into the system and working their way to the top. I am so proud of Kris Lamb.”
