Brandon Silverstein’s S10 Publishing and Avex USA have struck a worldwide co-publishing deal with Kavi, a producer behind breakout streaming hit Million Dollar Baby by Tommy Richman.
Released April 26, Million Dollar Baby (ISO Supremacy/Pulse Records) reached No.1 on Spotify‘s Daily Top Songs Global chart and has also charted high on Apple Music‘s charts globally over the past week.
It also reached No.1 on Billboard’s Streaming & Sales Gainer charts, No.2 on the US Hot 100, and is currently spending its third week at No.1 on the Hot R&B Songs chart.
The track has achieved over 204.7 million streams on Spotify to date.
News of S10 and Avex USA’s new co-publishing deal arrives a couple of weeks after Avex USA, the US division of Tokyo-headquartered entertainment giant Avex, made a strategic investment in artist management company S10 Entertainment, a JV between Brandon Silverstein and Jay Z’s Roc Nation.
Avex’s investment in S10 Entertainment followed the success of Avex USA’s earlier partnership with Silverstein’s S10 Publishing, which has also seen recent hits from writers Jasper Harris (Tate McRae’s greedy), GENT! (Doja Cat’s Agora Hills) and RVSSIAN collaborator King Kosa who is behind the hit Santa by RVSSIAN / Rauw Alejandro / Ayra Starr.
Avex USA Publishing, through its JV with Brandon Silverstein’s S10 Publishing, also represents Justin Bieber collaborator and Grammy-nominated Peaches producer HARV, Tate McRae greedy producer Jasper Harris, Doja Cat’s Agora Hills producer GENT!, RVSSIAN’s collaborator King Kosa (who’s behind the current global Top 20 hit Santa by RVSSIAN, Rauw Alejandro, and Ayra Starr).
It also represents Jamaica’s Shenseea, The Kid LAROI collaborator Cxdy from Internet Money, David Arkwright, who’s Get a Guitar is a K-Pop hit for Riize, and others.
S10 Publishing and Avex USA said on Wednesday (May 22) that Kavi is also closely collaborating with Tommy Richman on his forthcoming self-titled album while continuing to work with other artists such as Playboi Carti, Lil Tecca, Swae Lee, Yeat, Destroy Lonely, and others.
