London-based independent Communion Publishing has hired a new General Manager – Tom Prové – while re-signing its longstanding admin partnership with Kobalt Music.
The publisher is part of the Communion Music Group that also includes Caroline/UMG distributed label Communion Records (Catfish and the Bottlemen, Bear’s Den, Lucy Rose, Dan Croll) and live promoter Communion Presents (George Ezra, Maggie Rogers, Michael Kiwanuka, James Bay, Jack Garratt, Daughter).
Communion Publishing has enjoyed a successful 12 months, with a UK No.1 album from Catfish and the Bottlemen, and a UK Top 10 album from Ivor Novello-nominated Bear’s Den.
Its roster also includes new Communion Records artists Joseph J. Jones and Banfi, long-time Communion collaborator Matthew and the Atlas, and two fresh signings: established UK band Peace (pictured), and new prospect MarthaGunn.
