ProMusicae (Productores de Música de España) is the trade body for the recorded music industry in Spain.
In addition to lobbying on behalf of record labels, Promusicae also publishes official data on sales and streams in the Spanish market.
Promusicae’s members represent over 90% of Spain’s recorded music industry, and include the three major record companies, Universal Music, Warner Music, and Sony Music.
According to Promusicae data, Spain’s recorded music market generated €145.1 million ($158.4m) in the first half of 2020.
That compared to €139.5 million in the same period of 2019.
