Legendary British punk band The Damned have signed to Search and Destroy ahead of the release of their eleventh album, and first in nearly a decade.
Search and Destroy exists as a joint venture between Spinefarm Records, Universal and Raw Power Management.
The upcoming album will be recorded this summer and is the follow up to 2008’s So, Who’s Paranoid?
Manager Jamal Chalabi (Backlash Management) and Raw Power Management’s Commercial Director Don Jenkins were instrumental in brokering the new agreement.
Formed in 1976, The Damned broke ground as the first UK punk act to tour America.
They recently celebrated four decades together with deluxe reissues package and a world tour.
