As part of its Global Music Report, the global trade body for the recorded music industry, IFPI, issues updated figures on the number of people using paid music streaming subscription accounts.
Note: These numbers refer to the total number of users of these accounts rather than the total number of paid accounts. (For example, a Family Plan Spotify subscription account will have multiple users.)
Detailed numbers on the total number of paid subscription music streaming accounts are only available in IFPI’s paid version of the Global Music Report.
Data on the number of paid music streaming subscription accounts, however, are in the general/free-to-download version of the Global Music Report.
