The ‘big three’ music rights companies – Sony, Universal Music Group, and Warner Music Group – each publish an annual figure for their total employee base worldwide.
In the case of Sony, this figure is for Sony Corp‘s ‘Music’ division. This includes both recorded music and music publishing globally, but also includes ‘Visual Media & Platform’, which is non-comparable to UMG and WMG.
