Dua Lipa’s video for ‘New Rules’ has surpassed a billion views on YouTube.
The Warner Bros. artist is the youngest solo female to have reached the billion mark.
‘New Rules’ was released as a single alongside the video last July, and reached 2.3 million views during its first 24 hours.
It took 223 days to reach 1bn views and is one of the 15 fastest videos to reach the milestone.
‘New Rules’ the single hit No.7 on Billboard’s Hot 100 after 27 weeks in the chart, and peaked at #1 in the UK.

Since releasing ‘New Rules’, Dua Lipa’s YouTube subscriber base has grown over 510% percent, leaping from 800,000 to over 4.9m subscribers.
She has earned 247m views in the US and around the world in countries such as Brazil (179m), Mexico (175m), the UK (143m), Indonesia (98m), Germany (82m), Philippines (67m) and Italy (63m).
