Crown Talent & Media Group has appointed Steven Melrose as its Head Of Music across both the UK and US.
Melrose was previously co-MD of Epic Records UK, a role he took up in July 2013.
In the exec’s early years in the biz, he founded the indie label/management company Leftwing Recordings prior to working as an A&R executive at Island Records.
In 2008 he joined Capitol Records in the US as VP of A&R and then joined Sony Music in a senior A&R role in 2012.

UK-born Crown’s music operation covers artist management, publishing, recordings and more.
Its management clients include Ella Henderson, Becky Hill and Tamera Foster.
