The former Managing Director of RCA Records in the UK, Neil Hughes, has joined London’s Tileyard Music as MD.
Hughes will be working with the co-founders of the business Michael Harwood, Charlie Arme, Paul Kempe and Nick Keyne.
At RCA, Hughes led campaigns for Platinum and Gold selling acts including Bring Me The Horizon, Pink, Paloma Faith, Justin Timberlake, Kodaline, Pharrell Williams, Jeff Lynne’s ELO and The Chainsmokers.
Accolades to date on campaigns Hughes has led or worked on include 36 BRIT Awards, four Mercury Prize Awards, 11 of the Top 100 best-selling UK singles of all time and eight of the Top 60 best-selling UK albums.
Tileyard Music has achieved over 8 billion streams with its various releases across management, publishing and records since the company formed just over six years ago.
Major success stories have included Sigala and Ella Eyre amongst successful releases with The Chainsmokers, Kygo, Sigma, Rudimental and many more.
Tileyard Music is at the very centre of Tileyard London, the King’s Cross, London- based creative music hub that houses over 100 independent music studios and more than 150 music businesses.
