Frank Briegmann has been appointed President of Central Europe at Universal Music Group after an impressive spell of success.
Berlin-based Briegmann will also become Chairman and CEO of Universal Music Germany. Plus, in addition to managing Switzerland, Austria and Deutsche Grammophon, his role will expand to cover Eastern Europe and the Nordic countries.
With all of those territories under his control, it perhaps make sense that Ash is also joining UMGI’s International Management Board.
Under Briegmann’s leadership, Universal Music Germany has become the undisputed number one in the market He and his team have brought through top-selling local artists including Adoro, David Garrett, Ich+Ich, Lena, Max Herre, Rea Garvey and Unheilig.
