Performing rights society Global Music Rights (GMR) has entered into a long-term partnership with audio entertainment and broadcast company Entercom Communications.
The multi-year deal starts immediately.
Entercom was created in 2017 via the merger of US radio brands CBS Radio and Entercom and operates a network of over 230 news, sports and music radio stations across the US.
The company says that engages over 170 million consumers each month through its broadcast brands, digital platform, podcast network and live events and experiences.
Founded in 2013, GMR represents songwriters including Lizzo, Post Malone, Roddy Ricch, Harry Styles, Pharrell Wiliams, Bruno Mars, The Eagles, Pearl Jam, John Lennon, and George Harrison.
The deal allows Entercom to perform GMR’s catalog of hit songs across all of its platforms.
