Harri Davies appointed Head of A&R at RCA Records UK

Sony Music UK has appointed Harri Davies as Head of A&R at RCA Records UK, effective immediately.

Davies will report to Co-Presidents Glyn Aikins and Stacey Tang and will be responsible for steering the A&R strategy and signing talent at the UK label.

Davies brings over a decade of experience in A&R, engineering, producing and songwriting to the role.

He most recently held the position of Senior Director A&R at Concord Music Publishing.

Prior to Concord, Davies helped shape the roster at London-headquartered Bucks Music Group, working with a diverse array of artists and producers.

RCA Records UK notes that Davies’ track record “includes the discovery and development of many artists and producers.

Notable signings include Krept & Konan, BRIT Award-winning Chase & Status and Grammy-award winners Imanbek, Alex “Metric and Flowdan. He also facilitated the signing of 2023’s global breakout star, Tyla.

Davies’ appointment follows the news from February that music industry veteran Damaris Rex-Taylor has been promoted to Managing Director of RCA Records UK.

In February 2023, Sony Music Entertainment UK announced the promotions of widely respected executives Stacey Tang and Glyn Aikins as Co-Presidents of RCA UK.

RCA Records UK’s current roster includes artists such as Jade Thirlwall, Bring Me The Horizon, METTE, Cat Burns, Paloma Faith, Mimi Webb, Tyla, TEMS and Nothing But Thieves.
