India-based music distribution and publishing company Divo Music has partnered with Sony/ATV Music Publishing to administer its publishing rights for overseas markets.
The news follows Sony/ATV’s recent expansion into India’s music publishing market, and the appointment of Dinraj Shetty as Director, Sony/ATV India
Divo was founded in the 2013 as an online video company and now claims to be one of the leading YouTube and Multi-Platform Networks in India.
The company has worked as music label, distributor and publisher in the Indian film industry having worked with the likes of AR Rahman, Dhanush, Anirudh, Yuvan Shankar Raja and others.
Divo also offers digital marketing solutions for multiple brands, celebrities and movies.
With this new partnership, Sony/ATV will provide publishing and administration services to Divo Music’s songwriters, composers and lyricists and deliver new opportunities for their musical works on a global scale.
