Interscope Geffen A&M (IGA), a division of the recently formed Interscope Capitol Labels Group (ICLG), has promoted or named 13 executives to key positions spanning its IGA Pop/Rock and IGA Urban arms.
The announcement follows last week’s news that Universal Music Group‘s frontline label groups in the US, Interscope Geffen A&M and Capitol Music Group, are now officially consolidated under the new name of Interscope Capitol Labels Group (ICLG).
Interscope Capitol Labels Group is headed up by Chairman & CEO, John Janick.
On Friday (March 8), Gary Kelly and Jason Kawejsza were elevated to primary positions at Interscope Capitol Labels Group (ICLG).
Kelly has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer and General Manager, and Kawejsza has been named Executive Vice President, Head of Business & Legal Affairs for the company.
All 13 execs named in the most recent announcement on Monday (March 11) are longtime executives at IGA, and have worked closely with Janick and his senior leadership team for many years.
According to the announcement, they are each “charged with responsibilities integral to the launch and success of projects by new, developing and established artists across IGA’s labels”.
Leading IGA’s Pop/Rock arm are Michelle An, President of IGA and Head of Creative Strategy, and Sam Riback, President of IGA and Head of Pop/Rock A&R. Filling out the Pop/Rock team are: Matt Morris, Executive Vice President of Pop/Rock A&R; Chris Mortimer and Kirsten Stubbs, each Co-Head of Pop/Rock Digital; Adrian Amodeo, Senior Vice President of Pop/Rock Marketing; Chelsea Dodson, Vice President of Pop/Rock Visual Creative.
IGA’s Urban arm is headed by Nicole Wyskoarko, President of IGA and Head of Urban A&R, and Laura Carter, Executive Vice President and Head of Urban Marketing. Urban’s senior leadership team includes Aaron “Dash” Sherrod, President of Geffen Records Urban A&R and Ramon Alvarez-Smikle Executive Vice President and Head of Urban Digital. It’s supporting team includes Lola Plaku, Senior Vice President of Urban Marketing & Strategy; Andrew Ibea, Senior Vice President of Visual Creative and Head of Urban Creative.
