Interscope Geffen A&M has renewed its deal with producer and entrepreneur Benny Blanco.
The agreement will keep Blanco’s imprints Mad Love Records and Friends Keep Secrets at the UMG label group into the next decade.
“Benny Blanco is without a doubt one of the most sought after hit makers in contemporary music who has amazing taste and a gift for identifying emerging talent. We are thrilled that he has decided to call Interscope his home well into the future,” said Interscope Geffen A&M Chairman, John Janick.
“Benny also has an almost divine ability to bring out the best in his collaborators, a track record virtually unmatched by anyone else his age, and he has achieved it all with the kind of humility and self-deprecation that is rare in this industry. We are proud to have him as a key player on our team of the best record-makers in the business. Benny is a giant part of our future.”

“It’s been so easy working with these guys when developing artists can often feel so hard,” said Blanco.
“I couldn’t have a picked a better team of creative minds to work with in John Janick, Steve Berman and Joie Manda. I’m really proud to be part of this legendary label and hope that I can make serious contributions to the legacy of Interscope over the coming years.”
Benny Blanco, a Virginia native, first came to music industry prominence in 1994 with the cassette singles: Nas’s “The World Is Yours” and “I Swear” by All-4-One.
In 2014, Blanco launched a duo of imprint labels under Interscope Geffen A&M – Mad Love Records, which is home to Tory Lanez, Cashmere Cat, Trill Sammy, and others – and Friends Keep Secrets, a label that feeds Blanco’s indie/experimental side, with artists including Jessie Ware and Blanco’s own artist project BenZel with twoinchpunch.Music Business Worldwide
