Must have advanced understanding of royalty statements and core royalty functions, ideally in a music environment, and previous experience in a royalty accounting and distribution environment
The ideal candidate will have strong relationships within the entertainment industry and a keen ability to match songs with projects. They will be resourceful, self-motivated, passionate about music, have a solid understanding of music rights and exceptional communication skills
Required: mid- to senior level experience working creatively in the synchronisation and/or music business with established relationships within the industry
You will work to support regional and student press including servicing records and tour information and coordinating all promotional activities including interviews pre and during touring
Must be familiar with windows operating systems and various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and posses strong written and verbal communication skills required
Must have previous relevant music administration and/or music publishing experience as well as a strong interest in sample licensing and adaptations, and strong organisational skills
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and at least 1 year of experience in royalties, accounting, or finance.
Required: demonstrated experience with royalty accounting, copyright, income tracking or revenue assurance in the music industry, and proficient understanding of cue sheets and PRO accounting of audiovisuals
Required: minimum of 5 years of music royalties experience with 2 years of supervisory, bachelor’s degree in accounting or business, and knowledge of all aspects of royalty administration & music business
