Finance & Business Support Assistant (London)
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic person to join our finance team at Anglo Management.
As part of a team that works across multiple entities in many aspects of the industry (master and publishing rights, live events plus others), this is a unique opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the multiple sectors of the music industry and how they fit together.
This is an entry level role into the music industry and training will be provided. However, candidates with prior experience of working in a finance role will be preferred.
To be successful in this role, you should have a love of music, be well organised and should be capable of working methodically across various job activities simultaneously. Above all, you should have a very keen eye for the small details.
WHAT DOES A FINANCE & BUSINESS SUPPORT ASSISTANT AT ANGLO MANAGEMENT DO?
- Day to day finance tasks, including reconciliation, invoice handling, credit control and financial reporting to senior management.
- Assisting with a wide range of business support duties for our team, the Artists we manage, and the rights that we represent
- Assist in issuing paperwork, and managing the paperwork process covering a wide range of rights, such as master and publishing rights, remix contracts, vocalist agreements, and many others.
- Assist with periodic reporting to rights holders via our royalty software.
- Handling and processing incoming sales data in respect of streaming, synchronisations and publishing income
- Day to day operational tasks that help the company and our team to work efficiently.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Be able to multi-task effectively, learn quickly and be adaptable
- Be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of experience with sales and purchase ledgers, invoicing, and day to day finance tasks within accounting software (knowledge of XERO preferred)
- A good understanding of the functions of Microsoft Excel in order to manipulate and analyse data quickly
- Experience working in a professional environment where attention to detail is of paramount importance
- The ability to think logically, work independently as well as as part of a team, and meet deadlines.
- Be positive minded and able to assist with arising challenges, and problem-solve effectively and efficiently.
- Have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and can maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Having an understanding of master and publishing rights is preferred, although not essential.
- Experience of using royalty accounting software to accurately handle large amounts of data and report correctly to rights holders is preferred, although not essential.

This is hybrid role, with working from home and in our central London office. As part of our finance team, you will also assist with the financial affairs matters for our affiliated companies including Southern Fried Records Ltd, Asongs Music Publishing to name but a few.
