Senior Manager, Inventory Management

Join our team as a Senior Inventory Manager, where you’ll oversee the global management of our physical inventory in partnership with our distribution partner. You’ll handle the entire supply chain for BMG recorded music, ensuring our products are available and meet retail demands. This role requires strong communication and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Labels, and Logistics teams. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of music sales trends and a passion for the physical music market.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage finished goods inventories of New Release products.
  • Manage arrival schedule of goods in conjunction with warehouse deadlines and required-by dates by collaboration with our physical distribution partner
  • Work with our distribution partner to place Purchase Orders based on Sales forecasting.
  • Manage inventory levels for new releases and catalogue product across all product lines.
  • Monitor Purchase Orders for on time deliveries and complete quantities.
  • Manage arrival schedule of goods in conjunction with warehouse deadlines and customer required-by dates.
  • Manage allocation of orders as necessary due to stock limitations.
  • Analytics of sales trends and inventory levels
  • Work with Sales, Marketing and Finance to ensure inventory levels are maintained.
  • Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, Compliance, Logistics and Analytics.
  • Act as Production, Manufacturing, and Label Liaison covering supply chain product related issues including but not limited to recalls, quality control, and deletions.
  • Research and manage product related issues, initiate changes or corrections for system maintenance required to resolve issues.
  • Collate and present monthly KPIs relating to stock on hand, replenishment, sales.

Your Profile
  • Experience in supply chain/inventory management within the music industry
  • Experienced with program or project management
  • Proven track record of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s) at an advanced level
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
