Ditto Plus Label Services / Promotions Co-Ordinator Role
The Ditto Plus Label Services team are an industry leading global distribution and Label Services company, offering a broad spectrum of marketing & promotional support for Independent artists, working with the likes of Chance the Rapper, Darkoo, Jaz Karis, Potter Payper, ELIO, Tunde, Popcaan, Yaelokre & many more.
As Promotions Co-Ordinator you will be required to work across a diverse roster executing detailed and innovative promotions campaigns utilising streaming promotion, radio promotion, audience development and media opportunities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Promotions Co-Ordinator duties & responsibilities are:
- Working across a roster of both emerging and well established artists in our UK Label Services team, liaising with artist management & artists, implementing effective promotions strategy with a critical eye for how to reach and engage with different artists existing and potential audiences.
- Reporting into the Senior Streaming Promotions Manager, and Senior Promotions Manager, this is an integral role assisting in the growth and success of Promotion strategy.
- Assisting in the day to day setup and execution of campaigns, including asset collection, pitching to streaming and radio, and reporting back to clients.
- Taking responsibility for a number of administrative duties integral to the day to day success of our team.
- Curating pitch materials and details, and writing press releases for our artist campaigns.
- Leading on weekly reporting on Radio and Streaming to artists and their teams.
- Communicating with management teams on a regular basis to report back on successes and strategy for growth.
- Coordinating interview requests and promo schedules, actively seeking new platforms our artists may be suitable for whilst in promo cycle.
- Working cross functionally with internal departments (senior staff, label managers, video, marketing) as well as external partners to ensure flow of information throughout the campaign.
- Being aware of changes and developments in the music market, with particular emphasis on innovative promotions strategy.
- Representing Ditto in meetings with existing and potential artists, artist management and labels, and in the wider industry.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- 2 Years experience working within the music industry, preferably within promotions.
- You are highly passionate about music, with a keen eye for emerging trends and a desire to apply that in artists’ promotional campaigns.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail and comfortable with meeting strict deadlines whilst working on multiple campaigns.
- You should have a strong understanding of the opportunities accessible for artists across streaming and radio; including knowledge of key editorial playlists and DSP opportunities for artists, and the current tastemakers and stations across national and community radio.
- Enthusiastic about artist development and finding innovative and effective ways for artists to reach their audience and beyond.
- Be proactive and positive with the ability to independently initiate tasks and follow through to completion.
- A skilled communicator confident in a team environment, and within a client and industry facing role.
- A clear demonstration from past experience that you have a strong desire to work within a team dedicated to music.
- You have a flexible and adaptable approach to working across multiple aspects of a campaign, and you have a hunger to learn about executing high level artist campaigns across a broad range of promotional opportunities.
- Knowledge of PPL and Chart registration backend preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
