Overview

Drive Music Publishing Inc. is an independent global music publishing administration company. We work with various sub-publishers throughout the world to provide a unique hands-on administration tailored to each clients’ needs.

We are looking for a detailed oriented administrator to handle day to day for various music catalogs. Our commitment to songwriters as well as right holders is of utmost importance to our global representation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare copyrights/registrations for review.
  • Manage license requests including quotes, negotiating, and tracking.
  • Assist with the preparation of licenses for review by manager.
  • Ability to understand the terms of license requests and effectively convey the details internally and to clients.
  • Research project information and interact with requestors as necessary.
  • Manage mechanical licensing for all releases.
  • Preparation of catalog metadata for review by manager for PROs, CMOs and any other sources. Research and investigate claims to support the manager in identification of disputes.
  • Communicate with clients and answer questions as needed.
  • Understand and work with Performing Rights Organizations worldwide.
  • Research and collect composition and recording metadata including split confirmation. Manage internal music catalog database including timely review process.
  • Attending to the client’s day-to-day projects, creative, and needs.
  • Responsible for regular updates and reports.
  • Maintain information including all relevant correspondence for each client.
  • Maintain relevant data for Synch/Copyrights /Registrations.
  • Assist with catalog onboarding process.

Education/Experience
  • BA degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of Performing Rights Organizations worldwide.
  • Knowledge of synchronization (sync) for TV, Motion Picture, Advertising.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and multi-task.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive organizational, time management and computer skills.
  • Good soft and interpersonal skills to work in an upbeat, friendly, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel, Music Maestro-Vistex.
