Overview
Drive Music Publishing Inc. is an independent global music publishing administration company. We work with various sub-publishers throughout the world to provide a unique hands-on administration tailored to each clients’ needs.
We are looking for a detailed oriented royalty analyst to work in the royalty department. Our commitment to songwriters as well as right holders is of utmost importance to our global representation. Responsibilities
- Catalog Management in Music Maestro – data and tracking.
- Ability to understand royalty statements from around the world.
- Reconcile statements and proactively identify discrepancies.
- Regular updating of internal records including song metadata.
- Track and monitor transactions.
- Track payment and fees from licenses.
- Assist manager in any area of income tracking as necessary.
- Interact with clients and sources as needed.
- Assist in matching unidentified compositions and recordings to correct works.
- Resolve issues from error reports.
- Organize company payables.
- Interact with various departments including Administration.
- Understand and work with Performing Rights Organizations worldwide.
- Research and collect composition and recording metadata including split confirmation.
- Attend to client day-to-day projects and needs.
- Responsible for monthly/quarterly reports.
- Support onboarding process.
- Data analysis, pull reports, analytics, and pivot tables.
Education/Experience
- BA degree preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Performing Rights Organizations worldwide.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and multi-task.
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comprehensive organizational, time management and computer skills.
- Good soft and interpersonal skills to work in an upbeat, friendly, and deadline-driven environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel.
- Must have Music Maestro-Vistex experience.
