The Role:
We seek an experienced Finance Coordinator to oversee all day-to-day & period end finance processes and the preparation of the monthly statement accounts. Reporting directly to both the VP and the CEO, this individual will serve as the primary finance liaison within the company and actively strive to enhance operational processes.
Day to Day:
- Preparation of monthly royalty statements
- Management of accounts payable processes
- Accounts receivable & debt collection management
- Conduct regular reconciliations of financial accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- VAT return preparation
- Assistance with year end accounts
- Assisting with financial analysis & reporting
The position is based in the United Kingdom.
Essential skills & qualifications to include:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accountancy related role.
- Accountancy qualifications minimum AAT, (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) preferred.
- Excellent Excel & Google Sheets skills
- Data Driven: You will be able to analyse data and generate concise reports to upper management.
- Reliable: With remote working a possibility, you need to be trusted to get the job done and work professionally without supervision.
- Detail Oriented: You will have a keen eye for detail and an ability to identify trends & anomalies.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience within the music industry preferred but not essential
