Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Distribution Operations Assistant based in Hull. Reporting to the Senior Operations & Content Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency across all aspects of our business, with a particular focus on Distribution.

Engaging in customer support, from managing inquiries, assisting with label onboarding, and handling various administrative tasks up to release distribution. You’ll help our customers from first contact to the finishing touches. You will have a strong passion for the Dance music industry, excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently.


Duties
  • Day to day support for LabelWorx roster of record labels
  • Managing customer service queries via telephone
  • Assisting with the management of label onboardings
  • Data entry for contracts, Licensor details, metadata, etc
  • General administration and managing the daily logistics of release distribution
  • Supporting & training labels in their use of the LabelWorx system (LMS)
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key LabelWorx clients
  • Checking releases for compliance with DSP delivery guidelines
  • Assisting with sales data processing
  • Selecting tracks for our in-house compilation labels
  • Reviewing new label applications & advising new labels on the set up process

The ideal candidate
  • Interested in the Dance music industry, digital platforms and new technologies
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Professional outlook: drive to deliver to brand guidelines without supervision
  • Socially Aware: You will be in tune with dance music culture with the ability to identify and capitalize on upcoming trends
Knowledge and experience:
  • Zendesk & Google Hangouts (Desirable)
  • Competent in using MS Office & G Suite. A focus on Excel would be advantageous.
  • Experience using project management and sales tools eg: Asana (Desirable)

  • Salary up to £28,000 depending on experience
  • 21 days plus Bank holidays (Pro Rata for part time)
