Overview
As a Digital Content & Promotions Coordinator at Proper Music Distribution, you’ll be key to managing our extensive catalogue and maximizing artist and label visibility across digital platforms.
Partnering closely with the Head of Digital, label management, and our partners, you’ll oversee content delivery, maintain digital assets, and support artist promotions—all essential to our department’s growth and success.
About the Role:
- Oversee Content Delivery: Manage the end-to-end delivery process to ensure timely, accurate setup and release to DSPs (Digital Service Providers).
- Maintain Digital Schedules: Track and update release schedules, coordinating adjustments as needed to ensure alignment with release dates.
- Troubleshoot Release Issues: Collaborate with Idol and label partners to address and resolve issues that may arise during the release process.
- Rights and Ownership Management: Coordinate with labels and Idol to manage digital rights across platforms (YouTube, SoundCloud, Facebook), handle disputes, and oversee content takedowns as necessary.
- Organise Promo Assets and Support Pitching: Help collate promo materials from labels to support DSP submissions
- Maintain In-House Playlists and Digital Assets: Regularly update in-house playlists, YouTube channels, and digital assets to support and promote our catalogue.
- Support Marketing Initiatives: Assist with digital promotions and marketing campaigns that drive growth for the department and increase artist visibility.
About the Ideal Candidate

- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Excel, CMS, Canva, YouTube, and social media platforms is preferred.
- Experience in Music Distribution: Prior experience at a music label, distributor, or similar setting, with a background in digital distribution CMS preferred.
- Understanding of Digital Distribution Infrastructure: Knowledge of digital distribution processes and requirements is a plus.
