Role Overview

Raedio a division of HOORAE, LLC is seeking a VP of Sync and Music Library Sales for the music library division. The Raedio music library currently handles 500+ one-stop catalogue tracks, Raedio’s Label and Publishing clients, and a roster of unsigned sync artists.

The VP of Sales will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating sales strategies and revenue growth across all areas of the Music Library business. The VP of Sync and Music Library Sales will also formulate and implement operational processes pertaining to increasing revenue and business development, as well as developing and executing new sales initiatives.

The VP of Sync and Music Library Sales works closely with the Sr. Director of Creative Sync and will report to the Head of Music Supervision and Library.

What You’ll Do
  • Create and implement sales and marketing strategy for a growing catalog of one stops, indie artists and label/publishing clients.
  • Solicit opportunities for label and pub clients to create custom music/remixes.
  • Identify and negotiate opportunities for blanket licenses and preferred rates with music supervisors and music selectors across creative agencies, streamers, studios and production houses.
  • Establish and achieve sales pipeline goals, metrics, and milestones. Track and report on progress and success.
  • Initiate and develop relationships with client leads and conduct outbound sales prospecting.
  • Demonstrate passion for music, entertainment, pop culture, sports, brands and possess understanding of client’s needs in these areas.
  • Attend industry events to forge new relationships and fortify existing ones.

What You Will Need
  • 5+ years experience in music sync sales for film/tv (experience with ad agencies, trailer houses, and video games a plus), including exposure to and/or activity in: selling, negotiating, closing deals and developing relationships.
  • Strong existing relationships with music supervisors and music selectors across creative agencies, streamers, studios and production houses.
  • Understand the process of pitching music from both a one-stop lens and label/publishing lens.
  • Possess high degrees of initiative, drive, energy, organization and accountability.
  • Have the proven ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure, while consistently paying attention to accuracy and quality of work.
  • Must be fully adept in creating impactful proposals, sales tools, decks, product one-sheets, etc.
  • Have an existing network of contacts to tap for potential opportunities/leads and ability to grow this network over time.
  • A keen passion for all things music, entertainment and pop culture.
  • Digitally savvy, Google-suite proficient
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with key clients

Salary Range: $120 – $130k (base) + Commission Incentive Plan
