Seeking an experienced LA based Artist Development Manager
Job responsibilities include:
- Build & Maintain strong relationships with A&Rs, Managers, Lawyers, Booking Agents, and other industry professionals to expand the artist’s & label’s network.
- Project Management: Oversee release planning, distribution, DSP pitching, artist marketing, social media strategy, advertising and creative direction.
- Creative & Artistic Development: Collaborate with artist on booking sessions, song selection, production and overall creative direction to ensure the project meets artistic and commercial goals.
- Artist & Team Management: Manage and oversee artist strategy across all channels, including release strategy, touring, product and content creation. Further management of wider Red Roze Records team and additional 3rd party teams, included but not limited to distributors, publicists, DSP pluggers, stylists, content creators and more.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of A&R, record label, music publishing, project / product management, artist management experience.
- Established network: Established connections in the local and global music market. Relationships with artists, producers, songwriters, distributors, A&Rs, managers, promoters, booking agents and other industry professionals.
- Team Management Skills: Strong leadership skills with experience managing creatives and industry stakeholders
- Project Management Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Experienced with release planning.
- Social Media & Marketing: Strong knowledge of the current social media & digital platform market. Understanding of marketing, digital advertising, content creation and brand management.
