An opportunity to join Shogun Audio, one of the most established label groups operating within the Drum & Bass world. Our brands Shogun Audio, Elevate Records, Temple Publishing and EST Studios are world leaders in their respective fields and we’re looking for a full-time Social Media Executive to join our growing team.

With names including Friction, DJ Marky, Pola & Bryson, Fatboy Slim, Moby, Skream, Alix Perez, Noisia, Dimension, Sigma, Roni Size, Calibre, Monrroe, Macky Gee and many more littering the current and back catalogue Shogun Audio is today a multi-faceted organisation with functions including digital and physical record distribution, events management, merchandise and apparel design, e-commerce, supply and development of creative tools, marketing, broadcasting and music publishing.

The Social Media Executive will work with the Label and Marketing teams to manage and develop the social media channels for Shogun Audio Group brands and our artist roster.


THE ROLE
  • Developing & executing social media strategy and campaign plans across all brand and artist channels.
  • Taking ownership of day-to-day planning & scheduling of social media across all channels.
  • Responsible for day-to-day posting of all social media channels
  • Manage campaign /social assets with the content teams ensuring on-time delivery.
  • To build positive relationships with the artists and their teams, ensuring all assets and campaigns are fully executed and aligned with the plan.
  • To edit/create content for various channels where necessary (i.e. images, cover photos, videos, headers, etc.)
  • To manage and own a positive relationship with our external Influencers on behalf of the business.
  • To take responsibility for the social media tracking and insight tools and setting benchmarks for the impact of social media.
  • Attending Shogun Audio brand activities (events, photoshoots, video shoots, studio sessions etc to capture social content as required).
  • To be part of the team by supporting at events when required.

ABOUT YOU
  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing social media channels and actioning marketing plans.
  • Degree in Marketing or Business Studies or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Undisputable experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of Shogun Audio brands, D&B, electronic music industry and be a true D&B fanatic for music and visual arts.
  • Excellent at managing time – having the ability to manage time effectively in line with company priorities.
  • Possess the genuine desire and ability to partner and collaborate closely with internal and external teams.
  • Be proactive, enthusiastic, and passionate about staying at the very top of the ever-changing world of D&B.
  • Team Player – Has a ‘Can Do’ attitude and is willing to be flexible to support the company.
  • Able to work in the Brighton office at least 2 days a week.
