Music design and packaging specialist Modo has teamed up with Essential Music & Marketing to co-curate a free event at the forthcoming Great Escape convention (TGE 15) in Brighton, UK this Thursday (May 14).
‘The Fireside Sessions’, a full day of music industry interviews and live band performances, will be part of ‘The Alternative Escape’ – the official Fringe program for TGE 15.
Taking place at The Basement, a venue in central Brighton, The Fireside Sessions will see a number of top music industry figures sharing their wisdom, ahead of an evening of live music from acclaimed artists.
Confirmed to take part in the afternoon’s ‘Fireside Chats’, which will be hosted by Music Business Worldwide founder Tim Ingham, are Jeff Barrett, boss of legendary independent label Heavenly Recordings, Lohan Presencer, CEO of Ministry of Sound and Renaat Vandepapeliere, President of Belgian dance music giants R&S Records.
Artists confirmed to play at this event include, Scottish singer/songwriter C Duncan, London rapper Ghetts (pictured) and Dralms, led by songwriter Christopher Smith.

Entry to this event will be free of charge and open to all TGE 15 delegates with a wristband on a first come-first served basis.
