New York-based Kevin Kelleher has been promoted to COO of Sony Music Entertainment.
Kelleher, a 25-year Sony veteran, will step up to the role from his current position of EVP/CFO effective April 1, reporting into Rob Stringer – who becomes CEO of Sony Music Entertainment on the same date.
In his new position, the exec will have ‘oversight responsibility for Stringer in all corporate areas’ according to Sony and will ‘work closely with him in overseeing the company’s global operations, and helping drive initiatives’.
