Kobalt has hired Sebastien Cayla as Director of Synch and Brand Partnerships, France & Belgium.
Based in Paris, Cayla will oversee sync and brand partnerships within the territory for Kobalt & AWAL.
This addition strengthens Kobalt and AWAL’s continued growth to support artists and labels around the world, following recent AWAL hire Delphine Ferre, AWAL Marketing Director for France.
Cayla joins Kobalt with more than 20 years of industry experience from gig promoter for indie artists like Radiohead, The Divine Comedy and Pulp to his 15 year career at Warner Chappell Music France where he most recently led as Head of Synch.
He placed a historic deal for France with Michael Jackson’s Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough synchronised on the French national lottery TV commercial, and more recently contributed to putting some alternative and new acts on the map including Lily Wood & The Prick for Guerlain, Prequell for Mugler, Hyphen Hyphen for Armani, YSL Beauty, Is Tropical for L’Oreal.
