Kobalt has signed a multi-faceted worldwide label services deal with famed DJ and producer, Steve Angello.
The agreement includes a partnership with Angello’s own label, Size Records UK Limited.
The signing offers Angello a range of services including digital and physical distribution, marketing, synch licensing and more.
Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum selling DJ/producer Angello – a former member of Swedish House Mafia – released his debut solo album, Wild Youth, in 2016 via Size Records.
It debuted at No.1 on the iTunes Dance chart in over 42 countries.
Before this, Angello released 2009’s smash hit Show Me Love (with Laidback Luke feat. Robin S) on Data Records / Ministry Of Sound under license from Mixmash Records BV – while his work as Swedish House Mafia was signed to EMI / Virgin Records.
Angello’s upcoming solo album is being released in three parts: Act I – Genesis, Act ll – Inferno, and Act lll – Paradiso.
“We look forward to working in partnership with Steve and his management team on creating innovative release strategies for this inspiring record.”
