Lena Franklin has been appointed Vice President of Marketing, Def Jam Recordings.
Franklin officially joined Def Jam in June, and has worked on projects ranging from Alessia Cara’s new album In The Meantime, to Kaash Paige, to the Ludacris’ new Netflix children’s show Karma’s World.
Before joining Def Jam, Franklin spent five years at Interscope Records.
During that tenure, she contributed to campaigns for Top Dawg Entertainment acts Jay Rock, ScHoolboy Q, and Kendrick Lamar.
Franklin worked closely with Rich the Kid and on LVRN artists Summer Walker and Lil Mosey.
Franklin joins a raft of new hires and promotions at Def Jam, including Dara Michelle as Executive Vice President & Head of Marketing, Chelsea Blythe as Senior Vice President and Tunji Balogun as Chairman and CEO, who will take up his position in the new year.
