Lori Giamela and Kevin Valentini have been promoted at RCA Records in the US to Vice Presidents, Rhythm Promotion.
Both execs move up from their prior position as Senior Director, Rhythm Promotion at the Sony label
Under their leadership, the RCA Rhythm Radio Department reached a #1 chart share in 2018.
During their tenure, the duo have helped break artists at radio including G-Eazy, Tinashe, Bryson Tiller, SZA, and Khalid.
In their new roles, Giamela will remain in the company’s west coast office, while Valentini will remain in the New York headquarters.
The two will continue to report to Joe Riccitelli, Co-President, RCA Records, who said: “There is nothing more satisfying than seeing two exceptional promotion executives grow into their potential.

Giamela has over a decade of marketing and promotion experience and previously held positions in radio promotion at Capitol Music Group, Def Jam and Elektra.
Since 2016, she has been the co-head of the Rhythm format at RCA, crafting promotion strategies to help break numerous artists at the format.
Valentini started his tenure with J Records/Sony in 2004 overseeing Mixshow Promotion in the Urban Department.
In 2011, he transitioned to the Pop department as National Dir. of Rhythm Radio and shortly after was appointed co-head of the Rhythm Department.
