Jaimie Hodgson, Director of A&R at Marathon Artists, is leaving the company to form new artist management company, Found Management, as well as exploring new ventures in the publishing and records sectors.
Hodgson has been Director of A&R since the departure of Marathon co-founder and A&R Philippe Ascoli in 2016.
Since Hodgson joined Marathon Artists, his signings have included Courtney Barnett in 2013, POND and Afro B in 2017 and CocoRosie and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets in 2019.
In his position as Director of A&R he also initiated and managed the creation of Marathon’s rap-orientated MOVES Recordings imprint with Ian McQuaid in 2017, with a roster including Nigerian Afrobeats star Naira Marley and UK drill artists Skengdo X AM.
Hodgson will also continue to work on the House Anxiety label that he founded in 2008, which released the debut music from artists including King Krule, Vagabon and Keyah/Blu.
“It has been such a privilege to share in this journey, witnessing a burgeoning label evolve into the amazing label group it is today.”
