Mary Bekhait will become Group CEO of talent management company YMU on January 1, 2021, stepping up from her current role as UK CEO.
Neil Rodford, the current Group CEO, will step down on December 31, 2020 after exactly 20 years with the Group – and will now become Chairman of the newly-founded subsidiary YMU Ventures.
Bekhait was previously Managing Director of YMU’s entertainment division prior to her appointment as UK CEO in September 2019.
Before that, she had been with the YMU Group (formerly known as James Grant Group) for over seven years, managing clients including Davina McCall, Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates.
According to the announcement, investing alongside clients in the creation of intellectual property is “a key Group objective” and, at YMU Ventures, this will be Rodford’s main focus.
He will also continue to introduce and help with mergers & acquisitions.
