Mixcloud has entered into a multi-year direct licensing agreement with Merlin, the global digital rights agency for independent labels.
The deal with Merlin follows other recent agreements with Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group.

Regular uploaders include NTS, The Lot Radio and Red Light Radio and independent record labels such as Ninja Tune, Tru Thoughts and Hospital Records as well as and individual creators such as Lefto, J Rocc and Mr Scruff.
