As you may have read elsewhere, Metro Boomin (aka Leland Wayne) was the US market’s hottest hit songwriter of Q1 this year.
Now, his career just got even bigger: the producer/writer has launched his own label in partnership with Republic Records and UMG.
The announcement of Boominati Worldwide comes as Metro Boomin issues his first solo single as an artist – No Complaints, featuring Offset and Drake – which will appear on the label.
The star and his team will also be looking to add new signings to Boominati Worldwide.
“Launching Boominati Worldwide is the next step in my career as a producer, an artist and a businessman,” he said in a statement.
“I created the label to represent a collective of highly gifted individuals who have the shared gift of being able to influence the world through culture and art.”
“Metro Boomin is a franchise player who’s captured the imagination of the music community in a very short period of time.”
