Warner Chappell Music has appointed Michael LoBiondo as its Head of Business Development.
In his new post as Head of Business Development, Warner Chappell says that LoBiondo will “identify and execute acquisitions and partnerships for the publisher’s frontline songwriters and iconic repertoire of songs”.
LoBiondo will be based in Los Angeles and report to Guy Moot, Co-Chair and CEO, and David Woirhaye, EVP and Global CFO.
LoBiondo most recently worked at mtheory, a music and artist development company for artists such as Major Lazer, A$AP Rocky, Twenty One Pilots, Flume, The Head And The Heart, and more.
Before joining mtheory, LoBiondo spent several years as Senior Director at Warner Records and Warner Music Group. There, he supported a variety of its business development and digital initiatives, including the acquisition of Parlophone Label Group.
LoBiondo started his career in New York as an analyst at Goldman Sachs and went on to serve as Associate Director of Finance for the Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation.
