Matador Records has promoted Natalie Judge to General Manager of Matador UK.
Judge (pictured), previously UK Label Manager, joined Matador seven years ago and has been instrumental in recent signings such as Savages and Belle & Sebastian.
“2015 has already been an exciting year for Matador, with the return of Belle & Sebastian in January, plus Tobias Jesso Jr gaining fans in high places,” Judge told MBW.
“It’s great to still be part of the family seven years on.”
Matador, a partners of the Beggars Group, said it “looks forward to expanding [our] presence in London and the rest of the world with Natalie at the helm of those efforts”.

Meanwhile, Robby Morris has been promoted to A&R Director at Matador’s US office in New York.
Morris will now be responsible for the day-to-day management of Matador’s global A&R department. He will also work closely with the marketing, media and art departments to manage all aspects of album campaigns.
In addition, Rian Fossett joins the New York office as US Label Coordinator, while Blue Kirkhope joins the London HQ as UK Label Coordinator.
Founded in 1989, Matador has, in recent years, released acclaimed albums by the likes of Belle & Sebastian, Savages, EMA, Perfume Genius, Interpol, Ceremony, Queens Of The Stone Age and Kurt Vile.
Tobias Jesso Jr’s debut album, Goon – issued on True Panther via Matador – has earnt rave reviews since being released earlier this month.
