Natascha Augustin has been promoted to Senior Creative Director at Warner/Chappell Music Germany.
Augustin is a respected A&R executive who has played a key role in the rise of German hip-hop and rap in recent years.
Her promotion completes a recent restructure of Warner/Chappell’s German A&R team, which has also seen the appointment of Julien Weiss as Creative Manager, Song Marketing, with responsibility for the publisher’s Berlin office and pop co-writes.
Other members of Augustin’s team are Max Breinbauer, who looks after international co-writes, and Frank Feiler, who looks after Schlager co-writes and catalogue marketing.
Augustin has worked with the biggest names in German hip-hop and rap songwriting including 187 Strassenbande, Abaz, AK Ausserkontrolle, Ali As, Bausa, Bonez MC, Capital Bra, Celo & Abdi, Farid Bang, Genetikk, Miksu, JuhDee, KC Rebell and many others.
In the year to date, Warner/Chappell songwriters have helped the publisher enjoy a market share of 25.15 per cent in the Top 100 singles chart, making it the No.1 music publisher in Germany.
